Germany applies EU-wide rules plus its own national laws. Here is what an importer deals with, and what we cover as your factory:

Shipping Chargers from China to Germany

We sell EXW (our factory) or FOB China. Your freight forwarder handles German customs, import duty and VAT (currently 19%). Typical transit times after production:

FAQ

Questions from German Buyers

Haben eure Ladegeräte CE für Deutschland? / Are your chargers CE marked for Germany?

Yes. Every model on this page carries CE, backed by safety (EN IEC 62368-1) and EMC test reports from independent labs, plus RoHS. CE is the mandatory marking for placing electrical products on the German market.

What is VerpackG and what do I need?

The German Packaging Act (Verpackungsgesetz, VerpackG) requires every company that places packaging on the German market to register with the Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister (LUCID) and to license its packaging with a dual system (e.g. Der Grüne Punkt). As the importer, this is your responsibility. We print the LUCID registration number on your custom box or label if you provide it.

What about WEEE registration in Germany?

The German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) requires the importer to register as producer with the stiftung EAR before placing electrical products on the German market. You register, we print the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol and your WEEE registration number on your packaging.

Do you deliver DDP to Germany?

No. We sell EXW or FOB China. Your freight forwarder quotes the door-to-door DDP shipping, including German import duty and 19% VAT, and we hand the goods to them at our factory or the port.

Can you quote in euros?

Yes. We send quotations in EUR or USD; the price on the proforma invoice is final.

What is GPSR and does it affect German imports?

The EU General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988, in force since 13 December 2024, requires a responsible economic operator in the EU with contact details on the product or packaging. As the German importer, that is you. We print your company name and address on your custom box or label.

How long does shipping to Germany take?

Production takes 10 to 20 days for 1,000 to 3,000 pcs. Then sea freight to Hamburg typically takes 30 to 38 days, rail 18 to 25 days and air express 3 to 7 days. Your forwarder confirms the exact transit time.

Is it cheaper to buy from your factory than from a German wholesaler?

Usually yes, by a wide margin, because there is no distributor in between, and your logo is included at no extra cost. The trade-off is time: a German wholesaler delivers from stock in 1 to 3 days, while we make your order fresh in 10 to 20 days plus shipping.

Are you a USB-C charger supplier for Germany?

Yes. As a USB-C charger supplier Germany-based importers buy from directly, we make EU-plug GaN chargers from 30W to 140W with CE test reports, from 500 pieces per model.

Can you ship DDP to Germany?

We don't offer DDP ourselves. If you want a charger supplier DDP Germany-wide, your forwarder can quote it; we sell EXW or FOB and prepare the goods for them.

How do I import chargers from China to Germany?

To import chargers from China to Germany, you need an EORI number, CE documents for each model, an EU responsible person under GPSR, WEEE registration, and a forwarder to handle freight and customs.
